Core Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of home and commercial maintenance and repair tasks ranging from small to medium scale projects, typically lasting from two hours up to two days.
• Effectively communicate with clients to clarify requirements, provide guidance, and manage their expectations concerning project scope and costs.
• Deliver outstanding service to foster long-term customer relationships, following the standardized 'Mr. Handyman Way' process that ensures customer satisfaction consistently.
• Work independently managing your daily schedule and ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently.
• Provide exemplary customer service, including requesting client reviews and processing payments during visits.
• Utilize personal tools and required technology proficiently to complete jobs and maintain proper documentation adhering to company protocols.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and protective booties to safeguard customers' properties.

Required Qualifications

• Residency within the local service area is mandatory.
• Minimum of eight years’ experience as a paid handyman with evidence of skill across multiple trades.
• Owning a comprehensive set of tools necessary for handyman work.
• Insurance eligibility to drive company vehicles and passing of background and driving record checks.
• Physical capability to independently lift up to 50 pounds and safely perform work at heights and overhead for extended durations.
• Professional appearance alongside responsibility for maintaining the company vehicle.

Technical Skills and Trades Expertise

• Proficiency in at least three of the following trade areas: carpentry, bathroom upgrades, kitchen enhancements, interior/exterior painting, drywall installation or repairs, general plumbing and electrical (as per legal allowances), and flooring installation/refurbishment.
• Familiarity with pertinent building codes and regulations.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary ranging between $40,000 and $60,000, determined by experience level and trade expertise.
