About the Role

Located in Taylors, South Carolina, Mr. Handyman of E. Nashville & Hendersonville is expanding its team of skilled Handyman and Carpenter professionals. This opportunity gives you a chance to join a reputable home repair and maintenance company known for exceptional service and quality workmanship under the "Done Right Promise." You will receive full support with customer calls handled by an office team and be provided with your own company van and gas card.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform various small to medium home and commercial repair and maintenance tasks.
• Engage with customers to explain necessary work and set clear expectations regarding project scope and pricing.
• Deliver excellent service to encourage repeat business, adhering to the company's standardized process "The Mr. Handyman Way."
• Manage your own schedule and job responsibilities independently since you will often work alone.
• Provide outstanding customer service including requesting feedback and processing payments.
• Use and maintain necessary tools and technology for job documentation and communication.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment and use boot covers to maintain customer property hygiene.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must reside locally within the service area.
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience working as a paid handyman.
• Possess and maintain your own set of tools.
• Must be insurable to operate company vehicles.
• Pass background and driving record checks.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and working safely at heights and overhead for extended periods.
• Maintain professional demeanor and upkeep company vehicle supplied during work hours.
• Strong skills in at least three of the following areas: carpentry, bathroom and kitchen upgrades, interior and exterior painting, drywall repair, general plumbing and electrical (where legal), flooring installation/refinishing, and knowledge of building codes.
