About the Role
Eram Talent, a prominent recruitment firm specializing in the Oil & Energy industry, invites applications for an experienced Expeditor to support EPC projects in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. The selected candidate will ensure the prompt procurement, manufacturing, inspection, documentation, and delivery of all essential equipment and materials while coordinating closely across key project and supplier teams to maintain established schedules.
Key Duties
- Manage the progression of purchase orders from initiation to final delivery phases.
- Track supplier performance against agreed manufacturing and shipment timelines.
- Ensure timely receipt of engineering documents, drawings, certificates, and inspection reports by liaising with vendors.
- Proactively identify risks of delay and implement remedial measures.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, QA/QC, Inspection, Logistics, and Construction departments to address delivery-related challenges.
- Organize supplier progress meetings, reviews, and on-site expediting visits as needed.
- Supervise manufacturing progress to assure adherence to project milestones.
- Arrange third-party inspections ensuring timely approvals and certifications.
- Coordinate shipment readiness and timely dispatch with logistics partners.
- Maintain comprehensive expediting reports, vendor statuses, and procurement dashboards.
- Promptly escalate urgent issues to procurement leadership and project management with corrective recommendations.
- Ensure all activities comply with project specifications, contracts, and internal procedures.
- Contribute to project completion by supporting final documentation and material reconciliation.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience as an Expeditor specifically within EPC project environments.
- Preferably experienced in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, Offshore, or Industrial Construction projects.
- Solid knowledge of procurement lifecycle, manufacturing workflows, vendor oversight, and logistics coordination.
- Awareness of international codes and standards relevant to EPC projects.
