Job description

About the Role

Arkad SpA is expanding its operations in Abu Dhabi for a key EPC project and is seeking a proactive Expediting & Inspection Specialist. This role focuses on hands-on operational execution, ensuring timely tracking, auditing, and acceleration of critical equipment deliveries without involving team leadership or department management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage vendor expediting by ensuring adherence to contract delivery schedules, submission of progress reports, and all documentation required for Purchase Order fulfillment.
  • Review and analyze Manufacturing Progress Reports and fabrication timelines for critical packages.
  • Identify supplier delays, conduct root cause analysis of manufacturing bottlenecks, and implement recovery strategies to meet project deadlines.
  • Apply expediting surveillance standards throughout the manufacturing lifecycle for assigned vendor packages.
  • Coordinate with vendor inspection notifications and liaise with third-party inspectors; support Engineering in following up on technical document submissions from vendors.
  • Work with external expediting agencies to monitor field status and evaluate agency qualifications; assist procurement in meeting project and client reporting deadlines.
  • Monitor audit findings, enforce corrective actions at vendor sites, and ensure compliance with company quality standards.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 5 years of direct experience in post-order expediting and inspection within Oil & Gas, Energy, or Petrochemical EPC projects.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, post-order activities, and quality surveillance in the industry.
  • Highly proactive with excellent analytical skills, collaborative mindset, and structured problem-solving ability under tight schedules.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English; French language skills are an advantage.

Additional Information

  • This role is based in Abu Dhabi and operates under the local contractual framework.
  • The recruitment process is urgent and occurs in two phases: remote technical screening (immediate to mid-July 2026) and final face-to-face interviews in Abu Dhabi (late July 2026).
  • Preference will be given to candidates currently in the UAE or GCC region who can start immediately.
