As an active global asset manager with a strong UK footprint, the firm combines on-the-ground market understanding with an international outlook to manage a wide variety of markets. Role overview

We are seeking a full-time Executive Vice President for Schroders Investment Trusts, UK in a remote setup. In this position, you will shape and steer the organization’s strategic direction, strengthen relationships with clients and stakeholders, guide business development efforts, and keep the business aligned with long-term goals. The role also involves monitoring organizational performance, spotting new growth possibilities, maintaining regulatory adherence, and coordinating cross-functional teams to achieve key outcomes.

The ideal candidate brings strong leadership capability, sound strategic thinking, and confident decision-making. You should have a solid background in financial analysis, investment strategy, and risk oversight, along with excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. A successful track record in business growth and operational performance is important, as is a deep understanding of the asset management and investment trust sector. The role also calls for the ability to collaborate effectively in a virtual environment and lead distributed teams. A relevant graduate degree such as Business Administration, Finance, or Economics is required; an MBA or CFA would be considered an advantage. Familiarity with UK financial regulations and compliance expectations is also important.
