Job description
Role overview
This opportunity is for a seasoned Executive Vice President of Asset Management to join a well-established commercial real estate investment platform with roughly $15 billion in assets under management. The role is centered on actively guiding the operating and financial results of a large national multifamily portfolio that includes ground-up developments, value-add assets, and stabilized Class A properties.
What you will do
The position covers broad asset and portfolio management responsibilities, strategic planning, and investment-related support. You will be expected to assess portfolio performance, identify ways to improve results, and prepare recommendations for transactions and operational enhancements for senior executives and the Investment Committee.
Candidate background
The ideal professional brings 15 to 20 years of direct asset management experience within a major owner/operator, asset management platform, or private equity firm, with substantial institutional multifamily exposure. A bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, accounting, or a closely related field is required. Experience should include setting and executing strategy at both the property and portfolio levels, performing detailed financial and operational analysis, and participating in transactions and fund-level work while collaborating with investor relations teams.
Opportunity context
The employer is a recognized industry leader that continues to raise and deploy capital while delivering strong performance relative to peers. This is a chance to contribute to that continued growth in a senior, highly visible leadership role.
