Overview
A leading technology company based in Chicago's River North area, focused on advancing global digital security, is expanding and seeks an Executive Travel Manager. This role is central to ensuring flawless travel arrangements for the CEO, senior leadership, and employees, offering a white-glove experience in a demanding and fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Arrange and manage intricate travel plans including international and domestic flights, accommodations, ground transport, visa processing, and detailed schedules.
- Track travel progress proactively and resolve interruptions such as delays, cancellations, and adverse weather to guarantee smooth journeys.
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with airlines, hotels, car services, and private aviation providers, negotiating optimal rates as needed.
- Handle complex multi-city itineraries across various time zones, adapting to evolving executive priorities.
- Oversee travel authorizations, ensure precise expense reporting, and reconcile receipts meticulously.
- Support CEO office administratively during less intense travel periods by managing calendars, special projects, and sensitive information discreetly.
Candidate Requirements
- Between 3 to over 7 years of experience in executive assistance, corporate travel coordination, or travel management roles.
- Proven skill in administering sophisticated domestic and international travel for top executives.
- In-depth knowledge of global travel logistics, visa regulations, and scheduling across multiple time zones.
- Preferred well-established connections with premium travel vendors including luxury hotels and private aviation services.
- Exceptional organizational aptitude, professional demeanor, and the ability to solve problems efficiently in high-pressure contexts.
- Highly responsive and flexible to handle urgent travel demands beyond regular business hours.
- Trustworthy in managing confidential and sensitive corporate information with strict discretion.
Additional Information
Position is a full-time, direct hire role based onsite in Chicago, IL. The compensation range for this position is a base salary between $120,000 and $130,000 annually.
