Job description
Position Overview
As a pivotal member of the procurement team at the National Environment Agency, you will ensure that procurement governance is rigorously upheld. Your role involves guaranteeing adherence to government and NEA procurement policies and guidelines, while delivering maximum value and maintaining exemplary standards of integrity and transparency across the procurement lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess quotation and tender documents prior to publication to confirm alignment with NEA procurement policies and regulations.
- Evaluate quotation and tender reports to verify fairness, transparency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance standards.
- Enhance engagement by conducting training sessions and fostering communication within NEA’s procurement community.
- Perform supply market analysis and initiate supplier sourcing and engagement proactively.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to various departments on their daily procurement activities in accordance with established procurement protocols.
Desired Qualifications and Skills
- Possess three to five years of relevant experience in government procurement or supply chain management.
- Well-versed in the Instruction Manual on Procurement, GeBIZ platform, and GeBIZ Management Console.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Exhibit performance-oriented attitude, adaptability, and effective teamwork capabilities.
- Strong IT literacy coupled with data analytics competence.
- Adept at handling multiple priorities and stakeholders in a dynamic and volatile work environment.
