Job description
Role overview
Carmesi is looking for a graphic designer with 1 to 2 years of experience who can turn creative concepts into effective visual assets for digital as well as offline touchpoints. This role is best suited to someone who has worked with lifestyle, beauty, or personal care brands and understands how to use branding and visual storytelling to connect with varied audiences.
Packaging and print work
- Create and modify packaging artwork while keeping the brand look consistent across product ranges.
- Develop print communication such as leaflets, posters, danglers, and other retail display materials.
Social media creative
- Develop distinctive illustrations for Instagram using audience and content insights.
- Contribute to creative planning, design execution, and ongoing performance tracking to improve engagement over time.
Advertising and campaign design
- Produce high-impact static and video ad creatives for paid campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, and Google.
- Partner with the marketing team to test different creative versions, review results, and refine future campaigns for stronger reach and conversions.
Core skills required
- Strong graphic design capability using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and similar tools for both digital and print formats.
- Ability to create original illustrations that align with the brand and support storytelling across packaging, social media, and campaigns.
- Experience with video editing and motion content using Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro, with working knowledge of After Effects.
- Sound grasp of branding principles and the ability to maintain a consistent visual language across channels.
Preferred capabilities
- Exposure to 3D product modelling tools for realistic and innovative product visuals.
- Interest in exploring AI-based design tools to improve creativity and productivity.
