Role Overview

The Executive Director of Financial Operations leads the design and management of the corporate financial operations framework. This role focuses on refining financial procedures, evaluating operational data, and providing financial backing to improve efficiency, formalize processes, enhance collaboration, and deliver essential financial insights to aid corporate decision-making. The position ensures the financial system operates smoothly, reliably, and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee the financial operations management system, including the creation and refinement of business processes and standards.
• Promote the standardization and digitization of financial activities to elevate service effectiveness and internal support.
• Conduct thorough assessments of current financial procedures, recommending and implementing optimizations across budgeting, payment processing, expense reimbursement, settlement, and accounting.
• Drive adoption of financial systems and automation to cut costs and boost transactional efficiency.
• Perform comprehensive financial data analysis and prepare operational reports, tracking revenue, costs, profitability, and cash flow trends.
• Support business units with financial insights to assist management in making informed operational and resource allocation decisions.
• Participate in budget planning and oversee execution, monitoring performance and identifying variance causes.
• Provide recommendations for cost reduction and help enhance capital utilization.
• Establish financial risk management and internal controls, ensuring compliance and facilitating audits and regulatory checks.
• Lead and develop the financial operations team, setting goals and workflows, and fostering collaboration across departments including business, IT, procurement, and HR to improve processes and integrate finance with operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Financial Management, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related disciplines.
• Over 20 years' experience in financial management, operations, or operational analysis, with a history of managing financial teams.
• Deep knowledge of corporate financial workflows, budgeting, and operational analysis platforms.
• Proficient in ERP systems, financial analytics software, and data management technologies.
• Strong skills in data interpretation, process improvement, and managing projects.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
