Role overview
This position is for an Executive Communications professional based in Abu Dhabi to support the Managing Director’s office. The annual pay is AED 14,000. The role is centered on shaping and strengthening the external image of the Managing Director across media, digital channels, events, and other public-facing touchpoints.
The function goes beyond conventional communications work. The selected person will act as a strategist, public-facing writer, media liaison, and coordination lead, helping determine how the company’s senior leader is represented to external audiences.
Key responsibilities
- Build and manage the Managing Director’s public story so it reflects credibility, leadership, and future-focused thinking.
- Develop relationships with media contacts to help secure interviews, opinion pieces, panel appearances, and speaking opportunities.
- Oversee the Managing Director’s digital presence, including content planning, scheduling, and publishing across LinkedIn, X, Instagram, and other platforms.
- Prepare speeches, key messages, and talking points for different audiences and occasions.
- Track political, economic, and industry developments and help the Managing Director respond quickly when relevant.
- Plan and deliver communications support for events from start to finish, including capturing and promoting content before, during, and after the event.
- Serve as the main coordination point between marketing, PR, and business teams for all communication related to the Managing Director.
Candidate profile
The employer is seeking a communications, PR, or media professional with 8 to 12 years of experience, preferably in supporting senior leadership.
Strong writing ability is essential, including the capacity to produce both long-form speeches and short, engaging social media copy.
The role also calls for a solid grasp of social media channels, content formats, and current digital trends.
A successful candidate should be highly proactive, able to identify opportunities early, and comfortable acting without being prompted.
The job requires someone who can work in a fast-moving environment, manage multiple stakeholders, and handle confidential information with discretion.
