About the Organisation

Community Support Incorporated (CSI) is a well-established provider of home care services across the disability and aged care sectors in South Australia. With more than 30 years of experience, the organisation is known for its collaborative, professional environment and its commitment to person-centred support.

CSI describes itself as an employee-focused workplace that values both personal and professional development. As the organisation grows and welcomes new clients, it is seeking people who align with its values and want to contribute to meaningful work.

Role Overview

An ongoing part-time opportunity is available for an experienced and motivated Executive Assistant to support the Chief Executive Officer at the Wayville head office. The position is mainly for one day each week, but flexibility is essential. During weeks when Board meetings are held, which is expected to be about once a month, the role may require up to three working days in that week.

This position provides administrative and secretarial support to the CEO and involves working closely with the Board, the Executive Management Leadership Team, Service Managers, staff members, clients, and outside organisations such as government and community agencies.

Reception and Administrative Duties

  • Welcome clients in a courteous and professional way, and handle enquiries in person, online, and by phone.
  • Support the wider executive team and Board as needed.
  • Draft and prepare correspondence, reports, speeches, presentations, submissions, articles, and similar documents.
  • Arrange meetings, prepare agendas, record minutes, and follow up on progress actions.
  • Carry out general administrative tasks as directed.

Experience and Skills Needed

  • A strong client service mindset with well-developed interpersonal communication skills.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Publisher, Outlook, and Access, or comparable database tools.
  • The ability to work with community database systems.

Culture and Benefits

CSI aims to make staff feel supported and appreciated, with a workplace culture that recognises strong performance. The organisation offers ongoing learning opportunities to build skills and support career growth.

Benefits mentioned for this role include salary packaging, access to an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), healthcare and corporate discounts, and a referral program.

Additional Information

Applicants are advised that COVID-19 and flu vaccination is not mandatory for this role, although it is strongly recommended for working in this sector.
