Role overview
This opportunity is with a fast-growing technology startup creating a mission-led AI platform. The company is looking for a refined and highly adaptable Executive Assistant to support the President and a Senior Vice President. The position is influential and visible, calling for strong judgment, emotional intelligence, and the ability to work effectively with two senior leaders who have different styles and priorities.
The role is designed for someone who wants to do more than manage tasks. You will function as a trusted partner who looks ahead, removes friction, and helps the leadership team operate efficiently. Key responsibilities
- Deliver end-to-end executive support to both leaders, including calendar ownership, meeting setup, and travel coordination.
- Work ahead of needs by identifying issues early and resolving them before they affect the executives’ schedules or priorities.
- Act as a point of contact and buffer for internal and external communication, helping manage access and information flow.
- Draft and organize materials for meetings, presentations, and strategic initiatives.
- Handle logistics for leadership meetings, offsites, and internal events.
- Respond quickly when priorities shift in a fast-moving startup setting.
- Develop strong working rapport with each executive and tailor support to their individual preferences.
Experience and qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience supporting senior executives, preferably in a high-growth technology company, venture capital firm, or hedge fund.
- Outstanding professionalism, communication ability, and executive presence.
- High emotional intelligence and the ability to work smoothly with different personalities.
- Strong organization skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach.
- Comfort with ambiguity, change, and a demanding startup environment.
- A resourceful mindset with willingness to handle whatever is needed, regardless of task size.
Compensation and benefits
The base salary is listed at $150,000 to $170,000 annually, with additional bonus, equity, and benefits. Final pay will depend on experience, skill set, and overall fit. Compensation is expected to align with level and scope, with higher offers typically reserved for candidates with the most directly relevant experience.
