Job description
Role Overview
An expanding investment platform in New York City is looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to work closely with the Founder & CEO. This is a full-time, in-office position with salary of $140,000–$165,000 base plus bonus. The role sits at the heart of the business and involves partnering with a broader executive support group to help the CEO stay organized, focused, and effective in a fast-moving environment.
The right person will be a trusted partner to the CEO, helping manage competing priorities, streamline day-to-day operations, and maintain strong relationships with senior leaders, investors, and external stakeholders.
Key Duties
- Own the CEO’s schedule and make sure time is allocated according to business priorities.
- Handle a large volume of internal and external meetings while adjusting plans quickly when conflicts or new priorities arise.
- Coordinate communication and meetings with executives, investors, board members, clients, and strategic partners.
- Work in close collaboration with the wider executive assistant team to improve efficiency across the organization.
- Build meeting packs, presentation materials, briefing notes, and other business correspondence.
- Arrange travel, itineraries, expense tracking, and related administrative tasks.
- Monitor action items and help follow through on important initiatives and projects.
- Manage a mix of business-related and occasional personal requests with discretion and professionalism.
- Identify process improvements and practical ways to make work more efficient.
Ideal Background
This position is designed for a seasoned executive support professional who is comfortable in a high-performance, entrepreneurial setting. The company is especially interested in candidates with experience supporting senior leaders such as a Founder, CEO, President, Managing Partner, or equivalent executive.
Background in financial services, investment management, private equity, venture capital, hedge funds, or another similarly demanding environment is strongly preferred. Success in the role will require excellent calendar management, strong business judgment, clear communication, sharp organization, and the ability to handle confidential matters with care.
Candidate Profile
The best fit will be someone who enjoys building relationships, learns quickly, works well with others, and remains flexible as priorities shift. Attention to detail is important, but so is the ability to see the bigger picture and support the business as a whole. This is a long-term opportunity with room to grow.
Benefits and Culture
Employees benefit from direct exposure to a highly respected Founder & CEO, a rapidly growing organization, and an experienced executive operations team. The culture is described as collaborative and low-ego, with a strong emphasis on valuing and empowering people.
Additional advantages include a Midtown Manhattan office, competitive compensation with bonus potential, fully paid medical, dental, and vision coverage, retirement benefits, unlimited PTO, parental leave, and wellness perks.
Compensation
Base salary range: $140,000–$165,000 per year, plus bonus.
