Job description

Role overview

An investment firm is seeking an Executive Assistant to support its Chief People Officer in a busy, collaborative setting for an estimated 6 to 8 months. The role calls for someone who can stay ahead of needs, juggle multiple priorities, and act as a dependable partner to executive leadership.

What you will do

  • Own and organize a complex executive calendar while making smart decisions about scheduling priorities
  • Arrange both domestic and international travel
  • Draft documents, slide decks, and meeting support materials
  • Help coordinate leadership meetings and board-related logistics
  • Treat confidential information with care, professionalism, and sound judgment
  • Submit expense reports and complete reconciliation tasks
  • Support event planning, meetings, and other executive coordination needs
  • Assist with administrative projects and special initiatives as assigned
  • Work closely with internal partners and the broader administrative and operations group
  • Step in with backup support for office or reception coverage when needed

Job details

This is a full-time contract role based in Chicago, IL, with a hybrid schedule requiring four days onsite. Standard working hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, totaling 40 hours per week. The assignment is expected to last about 6 to 8 months. Compensation is $60 to $70 per hour on a W2 basis.
