Overview
Maxwell is looking for a highly capable Executive Assistant / Personal Assistant to support its CEO in a hands-on, in-person role based in Tribeca, New York City. This is a broad, cross-functional position for someone who enjoys organizing complex work, building strong relationships, and helping turn ideas into real-world initiatives.
Maxwell is a modern take on the classic social club, drawing inspiration from earlier fraternal and members-only organizations while operating as a social club, event venue, and creative agency from a 7,000-square-foot mansion in Tribeca. The company’s purpose is to foster genuine connection through shared experiences.
What you may work on
- Building strategic partnerships across design, brand, hospitality, and culture
- Supporting residency-style programs such as Chef, Artist, and Creative-in-Residence activations
- Helping plan and run member programming and events
- Creating content, managing social media, and supporting LinkedIn marketing efforts
- Assisting with PR, influencer outreach, and VIP relationship development
- Contributing to marketing, SEO, and audience-growth initiatives
- Supporting creative production, graphic design, and content collaborations
What the company is looking for
The right person will be organized, resourceful, creative, and comfortable working closely with a founding team in a fast-moving environment. Success in this role depends on initiative, strong judgment, and the ability to manage many priorities at once while handling sensitive information carefully.
Compensation and benefits
The salary offered for this position is between $70,000 and $80,000, depending on experience. Benefits include full healthcare coverage and 9 days of paid time off. You’ll also join a small, high-trust team where you’ll have a strong opportunity to learn and grow.
Work location
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Tribeca, New York City.
