Overview

The marketing group at Hulu is hiring an Executive Assistant to support the Vice President of Hulu Originals Creative Advertising and the Vice President of National Geographic Creative Advertising. This role is centered on high-level administrative support in a demanding, fast-moving environment where priorities can shift quickly. The right person is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working collaboratively while juggling multiple requests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage complex calendars with a high level of precision and attention to shifting priorities.
  • Arrange business travel and build detailed travel plans and itineraries.
  • Prepare, track, and process expense reports.
  • Plan and coordinate meetings with 50 or more attendees, including agenda preparation, deck support, room setup, content coordination, and follow-up.
  • Join meetings, capture notes, and track action items through completion.
  • Keep marketing calendars and status trackers current and accurate.
  • Maintain department mailing lists, contact directories, and project assignment records.
  • Assist with general office coordination such as document organization, supplies, and purchase orders.
  • Act as a communication bridge among teams across Hulu, National Geographic, and Disney.
  • Represent the departments as a primary contact and professional front-facing presence.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.

Basic Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience is required.
  • At least 2 years of administrative experience in the entertainment industry.
  • Strong organizational ability with the discipline to manage several deadlines and simultaneous projects.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, along with a strong collaborative approach.
  • A positive, solution-oriented mindset and the ability to stay effective under pressure.
  • Professional comfort working with associates, managers, and senior leaders at all levels.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook or Gmail, and Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
  • Calm, steady presence and a high level of energy.
  • Strong troubleshooting ability and a drive to improve processes and outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background knowledge of media, film, and television, along with genuine enthusiasm for the space.
  • Experience working with entertainment professionals both on-camera and behind the scenes.

Compensation and Benefits

The expected pay range for this Burbank, California role is $54,000 to $72,400 per year, based on a 40-hour workweek. Weekly hours may change depending on business needs. Final base pay may vary depending on internal equity, candidate location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may also be included, along with access to medical, financial, and other benefits depending on the level and position offered.
