Role overview
We’re seeking an Executive Assistant to partner with senior leaders in a services setting in Arlington, Virginia. This is a contract-to-permanent opportunity for someone who is highly organized, comfortable handling detailed travel coordination, and skilled at keeping executive priorities moving smoothly. The position calls for sound judgment, precision, and the ability to manage high-level meetings along with day-to-day administrative support.
Key responsibilities
- Keep executive calendars organized, manage appointment priorities, and resolve overlapping commitments as business needs shift.
- Plan and coordinate domestic and international travel, including itineraries, lodging, transportation, and related arrangements.
- Handle travel planning end-to-end and communicate updates quickly when schedules change.
- Set up executive meetings by arranging space, confirming participants, preparing schedules, and supporting follow-up tasks.
- Act as a dependable coordination point for leadership activities and help maintain smooth day-to-day operations.
- Prepare and circulate meeting materials, agendas, and supporting documents so executives are informed and ready.
Required qualifications
- Background supporting executives in an administrative or executive assistant role.
- Proven ability to manage demanding calendars and juggle multiple priorities effectively.
- Experience arranging travel with strong accuracy and attention to detail.
- Comfort supporting executive-level meetings and handling associated scheduling and logistics.
- Excellent organization, deadline management, and detail orientation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, exercise good judgment, and handle confidential information appropriately.

This is a temporary onsite role in Arlington, VA with potential to become permanent.
