Excel Specialist (Remote Contract)

Role Overview

We are seeking an expert Excel Specialist to join our team remotely on a contract basis. This role involves designing intricate, realistic business scenarios utilizing advanced Excel skills alongside PowerPoint and Word, reflecting tasks typically encountered in professional environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and simulate complex business cases requiring advanced use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word based on prior work experience.
• Participate in multi-turn dialogues with a large language model (LLM), providing intricate document prompts and assessing AI-generated outputs.
• Author and analyze office documents (.xlsx, .docx, .pptx), compare two AI-created solutions to professional standards, and identify the superior version.
• Provide comprehensive feedback and detailed comparative analyses to enhance AI models, focusing on quality, precision, and business relevance.
• Offer specialized knowledge from multiple industries and business sectors to ensure diverse, practical data collection.
• Communicate feedback clearly and effectively in written and spoken formats to support AI training initiatives.

Candidate Qualifications

• At least three years of professional experience in prominent companies, expertly using Excel, PowerPoint, and Word for important business initiatives.
• Proven skill in crafting sophisticated models, reports, analyses, and presentations across sectors like finance, healthcare, technology, consulting, or retail.
• Background in roles such as private equity, investment banking, consulting, financial planning & analysis, human resources, or marketing strategy with active involvement in projects or transactions.
• Ability to design use cases covering business functions including strategy, operations, sales, marketing, finance, and HR.
• Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities with strong attention to detail and clarity in providing feedback.
• Experience with large language model (LLM) interactions or composing extended prompts for AI tools is beneficial.
• Strong analytical skills for discerning subtle differences in document quality and relevance to business needs.
