This position is ideal for a practical Excel professional who has worked in Manufacturing and can help improve the quality of advanced spreadsheet training material. The work is impactful and intellectually demanding, with your hands-on expertise directly shaping how future models are trained.

Key responsibilities

Create realistic Excel exercises based on Manufacturing scenarios such as production planning, bill of materials and inventory modeling, OEE analysis, cost of goods sold modeling, and supply/demand forecasting.
Develop clear, correct solutions that demonstrate professional-level spreadsheet methods.
Review tasks and answers, then provide precise written feedback to help close gaps and improve overall quality.
Work with subject matter experts to keep the training content accurate and consistent.
Coordinate with research teams to spot missing areas and enhance model performance on advanced, domain-specific Excel problems.

Candidate profile

The ideal applicant has strong Excel capability proven in a professional setting, plus direct experience using spreadsheets in Manufacturing operations. You should be able to explain your reasoning clearly in writing, show strong analytical thinking, and demonstrate steady career growth with a history of solving challenging real-world spreadsheet issues.

Tools and expertise expected

Advanced knowledge of Excel features is important, including XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, dynamic arrays, PivotTables, Power Query, Power Pivot, data modeling, dashboards, and macros/VBA.

Working arrangement

This is a remote contract role with a contingent/W-2 employment structure. Candidates must be available for at least 20 hours per week on weekdays.

Compensation

Pay is set at $70 to $100 per hour.
