Job description

Role overview

This is an ongoing contract opportunity for an experienced Events Coordinator to support a global infrastructure organisation. The position is based near Olympic Park in Sydney and sits within a busy corporate setting. You will manage a wide variety of internal and external events while working closely with senior stakeholders across the business.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the full coordination process for both internal and external corporate events.
  • Handle event planning details such as suppliers, venues, budgets and delivery timelines.
  • Organise conferences, leadership gatherings, town hall meetings and client-facing functions.
  • Draft event-related communications, briefing documents and promotional content.
  • Manage branded materials, merchandise and all event-related assets.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Ensure every event is executed smoothly and delivered to a high professional standard.

Candidate profile

  • At least 5 years of experience coordinating corporate events in a large organisation.
  • Excellent organisation skills with strong focus on accuracy and detail.
  • Comfortable juggling several projects at once in a high-pressure, fast-moving environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to manage stakeholders confidently.
  • Hands-on experience with event budgets, vendor coordination and logistics.
  • Experience in infrastructure, construction, engineering, energy or a similar corporate sector will be an advantage.
