Job description
Role summary
ReadyGo is hiring an early-career sourcing and supplier relations professional to support client programs through global vendor partnerships. In this role, you will run competitive RFPs, shape commercial agreements, manage supplier information systems, and work closely with Sales and Travel Operations to recommend destinations, venues, and experiences backed by data.
The position offers a high level of ownership, room to build processes, and exposure to international markets.
Supplier relations and negotiation
- Identify, assess, and develop relationships with hotels, venues, destination management companies, and local agencies in markets around the world.
- Lead RFP activity and bidding, negotiate pricing, concessions, and contract terms, and help coordinate payments and agreements.
- Collect supplier inputs for client questions, organize the information, and help ensure the final experience is high quality and consistent with the brand.
Destination research and proposal development
- Study destinations, activities, seasonal factors, and logistics to judge how well each option aligns with client objectives and budgets.
- Build itineraries, destination presentations, and proposals, then explain the tradeoffs and recommended choices clearly.
Data, forecasting, and reporting
- Keep pipeline records accurate and well-structured in CRM and RFP systems, while monitoring supplier performance and key metrics.
- Create trip budgets and financial forecasts, using analysis to improve deal outcomes and guide market decisions.
- Predict inventory requirements from deal activity, market trends, and changing conditions.
Project management and process scaling
- Turn ambiguous challenges into practical tasks, milestones, and timelines.
- Develop repeatable sourcing workflows and SOPs, and assign work through offshore support when needed.
- Work across teams with Sales and Travel Operations to hit sourcing deadlines and service-level expectations.
Platform and knowledge management
- Keep destination, market, and hotel information current in the company platform, and centralize learning around DMCs and suppliers.
- When leadership is on the road, proactively look for meetings and partnership opportunities in target markets.
What you should bring
- 0 to 2 years of experience; background in event planning, tourism, or hospitality operations is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, solid organization, and reliable follow-through, with comfort handling vendor discussions.
- A negotiation-oriented mindset and enthusiasm for building mutually beneficial supplier relationships.
- An analytical approach, comfort working with Excel, and familiarity with CRM tools.
- A sharp eye for detail, balanced with the ability to think strategically and improve processes.
- Comfort with technology, curiosity, and adaptability, plus the ability to learn new tools quickly.
- Self-driven, energetic, and adaptable in a fast-moving environment where priorities can shift often.
- Arizona-based candidates are strongly preferred, and the role requires willingness to travel within the U.S. and internationally as needed.
- Additional advantage: experience in hospitality, operations, finance, or data analytics, along with an interest in travel.
