Role overview
Cerbelli Creative is seeking an Event Producer / Project Manager to join its Events Department. The team produces more than 150 live events each year, and this role works closely with fellow Project Managers, Project Coordinators, and the Director of Events.
This position is responsible for guiding events from the initial brief through final delivery. The right candidate will thrive in a fast-moving, small-team environment where creativity, sound judgment, strong communication, and careful organization are essential. The role also requires the ability to balance multiple priorities, work independently, and manage confidential information with discretion.
The Project Manager will coordinate schedules, resources, and talent sourcing across internal and external partners to deliver high-quality results. They will build timelines and budgets in the company’s tracking system, oversee creative review and approval, and make sure each project stays on schedule and within budget. The role involves direct client communication while planning and executing corporate, social, and nonprofit events.
Success in this position depends on working well with creative teams and vendors, respecting process while supporting innovative work, and maintaining a positive, courteous, high-energy approach. The agency values hard work and a collaborative, enjoyable work culture.
Responsibilities
- Plan, design, produce, and manage social and corporate events from concept development through proposal writing, presentation, production, and event-day delivery.
- Handle budgeting, forecasting, auditing, and reconciliation with a focus on financial accuracy, including client quoting, vendor rate negotiation, payment collection, and timely invoicing.
- Serve as the main point of contact for projects and keep communication flowing efficiently between clients and strategic partners.
- Monitor timelines, deadlines, agenda items, and event milestones so upcoming actions are anticipated and handled in advance.
- Support special event planning with a high level of precision and care.
- Oversee on-site execution to ensure logistics are properly managed and events run smoothly.
- Turn creative ideas into real event experiences by combining visual direction with a strong narrative.
- Research venues and resources, conduct site visits, and provide clients with informed recommendations on event options.
- Prepare operational documents such as run-of-show plans, production schedules, and floor plans.
- Assign work effectively across departments while setting clear expectations and communication channels.
- Travel as needed for projects and event execution.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in event planning and production.
- Demonstrated success managing several complex projects at the same time.
- Willingness to work overtime, evenings, and weekends when needed.
- Comfort operating in a demanding, fast-paced environment while staying accurate and detail-focused.
- Strong judgment and prioritization skills to complete work on time.
- Proficiency with the latest versions of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Ability to work in environments with wet floors, temperature extremes, and high noise levels.
- Capacity to stand and work long days.
- Availability for evenings, weekends, holidays, and up to 6-day workweeks when business needs require it.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally and 10 pounds frequently.
- Subject to background checks depending on project requirements.
Work schedule and conditions
This position generally follows a 5-day workweek. Friday work-from-home is optional, and additional in-person weekend coverage may be required for events, based on direction from the reporting manager.
Travel may be required regionally, nationally, and internationally.

Compensation and benefits
The salary is a fixed annual amount of $91,000. Additional earning potential is available through on-site event pay, and an end-of-year bonus is offered. A MacBook is provided.
Benefits include 15 days of vacation/PTO, 8 sick days, holidays, and office closures. Healthcare and a 401(k) with company match up to 3.5% are available after an introductory period. Payroll is processed bi-weekly.
