About the company
Moomoo is built around a single purpose: helping investors of every experience level make confident decisions in the market. The company supports this goal through an easy-to-use platform, advanced trading tools, and rich market data, all offered at no cost. It also brings together a worldwide community where people can learn from each other, exchange ideas, and build their investing knowledge.
The platform now supports more than 26 million users across seven global branches, and Moomoo NZ is the newest branch in the group. In Australia, the business operates as a CHESS-sponsored broker, offering trading solutions designed to be competitive and accessible for Australian investors.
You will be joining a fast-expanding team backed by approachable, skilled, and enthusiastic professionals who are focused on helping you perform well.
Role overview
This Melbourne-based event and customer engagement role centres on live activations, face-to-face conversations, and supporting marketing efforts that help grow business opportunities. The position requires a confident presence, strong coordination skills, and the ability to represent the brand effectively in public settings.
Key duties
- Welcome visitors proactively, understand their investment objectives, demonstrate the app and platform, and collect useful insights that support business growth.
- Assist with targeted marketing initiatives that contribute to business development, event execution, and wider brand visibility.
- Work closely with marketers, designers, and mall management teams to ensure activations remain compliant, aligned with brand standards, and delivered on time.
- Assess how well marketing activities and events are performing, especially in relation to business growth and sales outcomes.
- Help organise event-related team efforts so activities support commercial goals while maintaining quality and efficiency.
Candidate profile
You are likely to do well in this role if you enjoy speaking with people in person, can explain financial concepts in simple language, and feel comfortable telling the product story clearly. Speaking Cantonese or another language is considered an advantage.
A strong sales mindset, a polished approach to hosting, and the drive to meet targets are all important. The role also suits someone who works well in busy, changing settings such as weekend crowds, outdoor pop-ups, and last-minute layout changes.
You must be 18 years or older and hold full Australian working rights. Experience in sales, hospitality, retail events, or fintech is appreciated, though it is not mandatory because full product training will be provided.
Flexibility is essential, as the schedule may include rotating rosters, late-night shopping hours, and weekend work for expos or trade shows. You should also be comfortable working both on your own and as part of a team.
