Role Overview
The organization is seeking a dependable and motivated Evening Porter to help keep a client facility clean, orderly, and safe. This role involves maintaining shared spaces, handling guest needs quickly, and following established safety practices. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in custodial or janitorial work and should be comfortable working on their own as well as collaborating with others.
Responsibilities
- Clean assigned sections of the building, including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and servicing restrooms and ceiling vents.
- Remove waste from trash containers, replace liners, and clean receptacles when required.
- Carry out regular checks of assigned areas and record the findings.
- Replenish and organize supply closets.
- Use the required personal protective equipment at all times.
- Follow company rules, procedures, and site appearance standards.
- Complete tasks within the expected timeframe.
- Inform management about maintenance issues, damage, or repair needs.
- Take on additional duties as directed by the supervisor.
Requirements
- Prior custodial or janitorial experience is preferred.
- Ability to function well in a team setting.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Reliable, punctual, and consistent in attendance.
- Capable of working independently with limited oversight.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and pass E-Verify.
