Sales management responsibilities
- Oversee distribution partners across the EU while operating from a home-office setup.
- Create and implement sales plans that support company goals and help surpass revenue objectives.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on long-term business direction and growth by sharing trip updates, distributor insights, competitive intelligence, and feedback from surgeons and the market.
- Act as the connection between the Regulatory team and customers to help sustain and protect product registrations.
Clinical education responsibilities
- Offer clinical assistance during procedures, device installations, and product assessments.
- Represent the company at European congresses, training labs, and customer workshops.
- Train distribution partners, physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals on product use through presentations and hands-on demonstrations.
- Manage company demo equipment by storing, shipping, and tracking it for distributor support.
Requirements
- Clinical background in at least two of the following areas: general surgery, urological surgery, gynecological surgery, colorectal surgery, or ENT.
- 3 to 5 years of sales experience in the European medical device sector, preferably surgical devices.
- Previous work in operating room settings.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-management abilities.
- Preparedness to travel 50% to 75% across assigned European countries.
- English fluency is mandatory; knowledge of one or more other European languages is a strong advantage.
- Comfort using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor’s or undergraduate degree.
Preferred qualifications
- Background in distributor management is highly desirable.
- Clinical certification such as RN or a similar med-tech specialty is preferred.
- Established relationships with medical device distributors, surgeons, or key opinion leaders are an advantage.
- Experience in cadaver or animal labs, or prior participation in European clinical trials, is a plus.
- Knowledge of European healthcare systems, regulatory processes, and hospital procurement is beneficial.
Compensation and benefits
- Monthly consulting fee along with paid training.
- Commission structure tied to performance.
- All travel costs covered by the company.
- Continuous support for customer sales and training activities.
- Opportunity to join a collaborative team focused on improving patient outcomes.
