The Global Information Security team is working to strengthen cyber resilience across the company and protect the platforms that serve more than 20 million investors. This position is for an experienced Regional Information Security Officer to guide a local operational security team and support the execution of FNZ’s cyber resilience strategy. The role reports to the Head of Information Security and requires deep experience in regulated financial services, strong familiarity with security and risk frameworks, and the ability to communicate risk clearly to stakeholders at every level.

You will join a fast-moving environment where priorities can shift quickly, and you will be expected to spot opportunities for improvement, drive change, and partner with the wider business to raise security maturity across FNZ.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee information security management across the businesses within scope.
  • Handle engagement with internal teams as well as external parties such as regulators and clients.
  • Drive the local design, rollout, delivery, and ongoing support of the cyber resilience strategy in line with the company mission.
  • Assist the Group CISO in advancing the group-wide cyber resilience plan.
  • Help shape and communicate information security policies, standards, and guidance.
  • Provide local support for client and regulatory needs, including audit readiness, proposal responses, and information security forums tied to client contracts.
  • Lead a local team of Officers and/or Analysts to provide a consistent global service and help achieve business objectives through expert direction.
  • Promote and strengthen a security-aware culture across the organisation.
  • Assess, analyse, and report information and cyber risk to the right audiences.

Requirements

  • Substantial experience leading an information security team or function in financial services.
  • Working knowledge of how to apply information security and risk frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, and COBIT in practice.
  • Strong understanding of audit frameworks including ISAE 3402 and SOC 2.
  • Experience working with European laws and regulations such as GDPR, DORA, and the AI Act.
  • Proven ability to manage relationships with clients and regulators.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, especially when driving improvements in security maturity.
  • Excellent communication skills for explaining security and risk topics to varied audiences.
  • Professional information security credentials such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CRISC.
  • Experience implementing and maintaining ISO 27001 certification is an advantage.
  • Exposure to PCI DSS and SWIFT compliance is beneficial.
  • Experience leading a small team of information security professionals is desirable.
