Job description

Role Overview

The EU Finance Specialist will manage comprehensive financial reporting and analysis specifically for Germany and Austria within a pharmaceutical multinational. The role requires preparing detailed MIS reports, conducting distribution margin analyses, and supporting budgeting and forecasting processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Compile monthly MIS reports through EBITDA including WD1 sales flash.
  • Conduct focused analysis on distribution margins for Austria and Germany markets.
  • Perform OpEx variance evaluations and formulate action recommendations.
  • Collaborate with corporate departments for data preparation and advanced analytic reporting such as Hx Bonus and local monthly reporting requirements.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting efforts by preparing necessary calculations and projections.
  • Provide support for year-end and internal audits.
  • Develop and maintain KPI visualizations, reports, and dashboards.
  • Execute various ad-hoc financial evaluations to aid local management.
  • Prepare and analyze sales reporting, variance analyses, and related commentaries.
  • Serve as a backup for preparing Daily Sales Reports including analysis.
  • Support weekly and monthly MIS sales reporting routines.
  • Assist with GTN reconciliations and provisions related to SHI, LWV, CD, HERA, and EBV.
  • Drive system and process improvement initiatives involving Concur and SAP integration, PO management, and vendor tool analysis.
  • Support financial template UAT and update GOA mapping accordingly.
  • Contribute to MIS budget, forecast, and URP execution processes.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Inter CA/CMA, MBA in Finance, or M.Com degree with strong academic credentials.
  • Between 3 to 5 years of post-qualification experience within multinational manufacturing contexts, preferably pharmaceutical or FMCG sectors.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with global colleagues effectively.
  • High cultural sensitivity for collaboration across diverse teams.
  • Detail-oriented with advanced IT acumen and expertise in data management.
  • Dynamic leadership qualities with capability to inspire teams, meet deadlines, and manage expectations confidently.
  • Competent in managing multiple priorities and critical decisions under pressure.
  • Adaptive and thrives in fast-changing, demanding environments.
