Our Civil & Infrastructure division is growing rapidly, and we seek a seasoned Civil Estimator to join our Gold Coast team amidst significant project acquisitions and an expanding tender pipeline.

Role Overview

• Prepare comprehensive cost estimates by combining quotations with rates based on first principles.
• Engage with internal teams to facilitate effective communication.
• Contribute to refining and enhancing the estimating system, including the resource and rate libraries.
• Collaborate with the Business Development Team to ensure growth and pinpoint new business opportunities.
• Maintain strong partnerships with key suppliers to ensure a reliable and high-quality supply chain.
• Regularly connect with clients and their representatives in target markets to foster relationships.
• Represent and promote the company positively to generate new opportunities.
• Generate tender or budget estimates accurately and efficiently.
• Lead meetings during the initial phases of tenders with the Estimating Manager and colleagues.
• Support Project Teams in post-tender discussions, clarifications, and meetings.
• Measure work quantities to verify accuracy.
• Compile rates and apply them to finalize construction costs.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrates a strong commitment to quality and professionalism in all responsibilities.
• Proficient in using 'Expert Estimation' software or comparable estimating tools.
• At least three years of proven experience in a similar estimating role.
• Excellent time management capabilities coupled with effective communication skills.
• Self-motivated, capable of independent work while also thriving within a team environment.
