Estimator - Swimming Pools

Role Overview

An established swimming pool business in Dubai is looking for a skilled Estimator to handle pricing, take-offs, and quotation preparation for pool-related projects. The role suits someone who can combine technical reading skills with commercial judgment to produce accurate and competitive estimates.

What You’ll Do

• Develop precise project cost estimates and formal quotations for swimming pool assignments.
• Study drawings, technical specifications, and overall project requirements before preparing pricing.
• Carry out quantity take-offs and calculate material needs.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to gather pricing inputs.
• Draft Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and related tender submissions.
• Review overall project costs to keep pricing competitive and commercially sound.
• Assist the sales and project teams during both bid preparation and project execution.
• Keep estimation files, pricing references, and historical records organized and updated.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in estimation, ideally within the swimming pool sector.
• Working knowledge of swimming pool construction materials, systems, and build processes.
• Confidence in interpreting technical drawings and project specifications.
• Strong numerical ability with an analytical approach to cost preparation.
• Hands-on proficiency with MS Excel and estimation documentation.
• AutoCAD familiarity is a plus.
• Good coordination and communication skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Prior exposure to the UAE market is preferred.
• Able to manage several quotations at once while meeting tight deadlines.
• Meticulous, commercially aware, and comfortable working with detail-heavy tasks.
