About the role
This position covers both sales estimating and production estimating. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing precise pricing, reviewing plans and specifications, and working alongside internal stakeholders, suppliers, and subcontractors to keep projects on track, costed correctly, and delivered within budget.
Key responsibilities
- Develop accurate sales and production estimates for residential home projects
- Review architectural plans and specifications to prepare detailed cost breakdowns and bills of quantities
- Work with suppliers and subcontractors to source pricing and manage cost inputs
- Assist the sales, prestart, and construction teams across the lifecycle of each build
- Evaluate and price variations where needed
- Keep estimating records and project information accurate and up to date
- Strengthen working relationships with internal teams, suppliers, and trade partners
What the employer is looking for
The ideal applicant will have experience in estimating within residential construction, along with familiarity with Western Australian building codes, construction materials, and common building methods. Strong ability to interpret residential plans and specifications is essential, as are solid communication and stakeholder management skills.
