Role Details
This permanent, full-time role reports directly to the Estimating Manager. You will be responsible for preparing tender submissions and providing precise cost estimates to ensure project financial viability. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and finalize tender pricing in coordination with Estimating, Contract, and Division Managers.
- Compile and complete tender documentation as per submission requirements.
- Conduct quantity take-offs from engineering drawings.
- Source and assess pricing from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Assist in preparing Bills of Quantities and cost plans.
- Participate in tender review meetings and coordinate handovers.
- Identify risks, opportunities, and value-engineering options during tendering.
- Promote continual improvement in HSEQ standards during the tender process.
- Maintain accurate records and statistics for all active tenders.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and contractors.

Candidate Profile
- 1 to 3 years’ experience in civil construction, project engineering, Quantity Surveying, or estimating.
- Desirable tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related fields.
- Understanding of subdivision methods and civil construction processes.
- Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and scopes accurately.
- Strong analytical and numeracy capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at various organizational levels.
- Effective planning and organizational abilities.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
- Team-oriented mindset.
- Professionalism and confidentiality in all dealings.
- Meticulous attention to detail, reliability, and adaptability.
