Role Details

This permanent, full-time role reports directly to the Estimating Manager. You will be responsible for preparing tender submissions and providing precise cost estimates to ensure project financial viability. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and finalize tender pricing in coordination with Estimating, Contract, and Division Managers.
• Compile and complete tender documentation as per submission requirements.
• Conduct quantity take-offs from engineering drawings.
• Source and assess pricing from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Assist in preparing Bills of Quantities and cost plans.
• Participate in tender review meetings and coordinate handovers.
• Identify risks, opportunities, and value-engineering options during tendering.
• Promote continual improvement in HSEQ standards during the tender process.
• Maintain accurate records and statistics for all active tenders.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and contractors.

Candidate Profile

• 1 to 3 years’ experience in civil construction, project engineering, Quantity Surveying, or estimating.
• Desirable tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related fields.
• Understanding of subdivision methods and civil construction processes.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and scopes accurately.
• Strong analytical and numeracy capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at various organizational levels.
• Effective planning and organizational abilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Team-oriented mindset.
• Professionalism and confidentiality in all dealings.
• Meticulous attention to detail, reliability, and adaptability.
• Experience with tendering, procurement, or project delivery is an advantage.
