Overview
Centre de services scolaire de la Baie-James (CSSBJ) is hiring an ESL high school teacher for a full-time role in Lebel-Sur-Quévillon, Quebec. The position is based at the physical workplace and cannot be performed remotely.

- Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent mix of education and experience
Experience
Between 1 year and less than 2 years of related experience is required.

Responsibilities
- Review student performance and progress with students, parents, and school staff.
- Take part in education-related conferences and teacher development workshops.
- Attend staff meetings as needed.
- Oversee teaching assistants.
- Prepare and review homework assignments.
- Develop lesson content in line with an approved curriculum.
- Create, administer, and mark tests.
Credentials
- TESL/TELF/TESOL certification for teaching English as a second language
- Provincial or territorial teaching certificate
