Overview
This opportunity is with a major global technology company seeking an Escalations Specialist for its Dublin operations hub. The position supports a worldwide function that is responsible for protecting users and preserving platform quality at scale.
Role summary
In this role, you will evaluate difficult, sensitive, or high-risk content cases that have been escalated through internal processes. You will combine policy knowledge with language and regional insight to reach accurate enforcement decisions. The role is centered on one of three markets: Azerbaijan, Arabic-speaking markets such as Syria, or Australia.
Key responsibilities
- Handle escalated and complex content reviews within agreed service targets.
- Apply platform rules and enforcement procedures consistently and accurately.
- Use your regional language ability and cultural understanding to assess nuanced or unclear cases.
- Work with policy, legal, and operations partners to decide the correct outcome.
- Maintain strong quality standards and decision accuracy across all reviews.
- Route cases beyond standard policy boundaries to the relevant stakeholders.
- Keep current with changing policies, systems, and operational processes.
- Support a 24/7 operating model, including occasional on-call availability.
Candidate profile
You should bring at least 3 years of experience in Trust & Safety, content moderation, or a comparable operations environment. Strong reasoning skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work with sensitive or disturbing material are essential. Experience with moderation tools or queue-based workflows is a plus. Clear communication and strong teamwork are also important for success in this role.
