ERP Functional Consultant - Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Functional Consultant to join our team on-site in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires a professional with over eight years of experience in comprehensive ERP implementation projects covering all phases from initial solution design through post-Go-Live support. The consultant will play a pivotal role in transforming business needs into effective, scalable D365 F&O solutions while working closely with stakeholders from business, project management, and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct workshops for gathering and understanding business requirements.
• Perform detailed Fit-Gap Analyses and recommend best practices aligned with Microsoft standards.
• Develop functional solutions consistent with standard D365 Finance & Operations capabilities.
• Configure the various modules of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
• Create critical documentation including Functional Design Documents (FDD), Business Process Design (BPD), and Solution Design Documents (SDD).
• Set up workflows, financial dimensions, posting profiles, number sequences, and security roles within the system.
• Support data migration processes utilizing the Data Management Framework (DMF).
• Lead critical project stages including System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Conference Room Pilots (CRP), Go-Live, and Hypercare.
• Investigate and provide root cause analyses for production issues from a functional perspective.
• Collaborate with development teams on customizations and system integrations.
• Deliver training to end users and provide ongoing support after deployment.

Required Experience & Skills

• A minimum of eight years working as a Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant.
• Completed at least four full-cycle dynamics 365 F&O implementations.
• Expertise in functional areas including finance, supply chain, and project management.
• Proven practical involvement in Go-Live and Hypercare phases.
• Strong capabilities in business analysis and solution design.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
