Role Overview
As an Equipment Shoring Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting branch operations through various equipment handling and inspection tasks focused on shoring systems and related machinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and return tools to their designated storage areas to maintain order.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks under supervision.
- Conduct pre-use safety inspections of forklifts.
- Carry out basic visual inspections on equipment to ensure operational safety.
- Assemble, test, and disassemble vertical shores.
- Perform plate coating and conduct plate go/no-go gauge tests.
- Support the safe assembly of MAPS and Trench Boxes.
- Perform other assigned duties as required to support operations.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Have at least two years of experience as an Equipment Associate or similar role.
- Hold 1-2 years of experience working with Trench Shoring equipment.
- Understand steel sheeting and beam materials.
- Basic knowledge of engineered system inspections and handling procedures (HUB).
- Certified forklift operator.
- Familiarity with shop tools and equipment parts.
- Capability to ensure safety and provide advice to customers.

Compensation
The pay scale for this role ranges from $21.30 to $30.70 per hour, dependent on factors such as experience and skills.
