Job description
Role overview
Join the afternoon shift team at the Perth hub as an Equipment Operative, where you will help keep freight moving safely and efficiently through a busy depot and warehouse setting. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is comfortable with physical work and takes pride in accurate, timely handling of shipments.
Working hours and location
You will work from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Monday to Friday, and must be available for all five days. The position is based in Welshpool, Western Australia 6106, close to Perth Airport.
Responsibilities
- Use a forklift in a safe and efficient manner.
- Sort freight and help move shipments throughout the depot.
- Carry out manual handling duties when needed.
- Assist warehouse operations so dispatch remains accurate and on schedule.
Requirements
- A current forklift licence that is valid.
- Prior experience operating a forklift.
- Evidence of full Australian working rights.
- The ability to successfully complete a criminal history check and a pre-employment fitness assessment.
