Job description

About the Company

ofi is a global, integrated supply chain operator, processor, and grower of agricultural commodities and food ingredients. The business serves more than 13,000 customers around the world across 16 platforms, with sourcing and processing operations in most major producing regions and direct operations in over 65 countries. In Australia and New Zealand, its activities span cocoa, dairy, almonds, and other products.

The Role

This full-time position is based at the Mildura Warehouse on Sandown Drive. Reporting to the Warehouse and Procurement Manager, the role exists to support the warehouse and maintenance/irrigation teams by sourcing and ordering spare parts, as well as irrigation-related and workshop consumables.

Key Duties

  • Create, track, and manage purchase orders; place forward orders for spare parts; and keep inventory at appropriate levels.
  • Handle incoming parts, storage, distribution, and FIFO-based stock control.
  • Manage warranty claims for parts and review supplier pricing to help control spend.
  • Carry out cycle counts and look into stock differences or discrepancies.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports covering inventory and parts activity.
  • Pick, pack, and send out parts, and arrange freight deliveries to site locations.
  • Advise teams on parts planning and inventory matters across departments.
  • Support satellite warehouses, including travelling for stocktakes when needed.
  • Operate a forklift safely and keep the warehouse clean, orderly, and presentable.
  • Contribute to efficiency improvements using LEAN and SMART methods.
  • Train other warehouse employees and build multi-skilled operational coverage.

About You

You should bring solid experience in spare parts or parts interpretation. Background with orchard or almond harvest equipment will be viewed very positively. Strong computer ability and familiarity with machinery maintenance systems are important. The ideal candidate can work independently, manage budgets, solve issues practically, and collaborate well with others while making cost-conscious decisions.

Qualifications and Licences

Warehouse or logistics qualifications are preferred but not mandatory. A current driver’s licence and forklift licence are essential. You should also be prepared to obtain an HR licence and any other relevant certifications if required.

Why This Role May Suit You

  • It offers a high degree of autonomy and meaningful input into daily operations.
  • You will join a supportive team that works across functions.
  • The role gives you a chance to improve efficiency and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Important Notice

Applicants must be comfortable passing a pre-employment medical assessment and drug screening. The organisation maintains a zero-tolerance approach to drugs.
