Project overview

This is a contract role supporting a large Epic implementation in Dubai, focused on digital patient-facing products that improve access, engagement, and overall satisfaction across the healthcare environment. The assignment runs for 12 months and is scheduled to begin on 9/1/2026.

Role summary

The Epic Product Manager for Digital Patient Experience will set the product direction, define the roadmap, and guide delivery of digital solutions that enhance the patient journey. The role works across business teams, technology partners, and vendors to ensure patient-facing tools are designed, launched, and improved in ways that boost patient satisfaction and operational performance.

Key responsibilities

  • Set and articulate the product vision, roadmap, and measures of success for digital patient experience offerings.
  • Track market and technology developments, including patient portals, wearable device integrations, chatbots, CRM tools, and queue management systems, to shape product strategy.
  • Collect, clarify, and rank stakeholder requests, enhancement ideas, and support items into a clear and manageable backlog.
  • Run Agile ceremonies and support engineering teams through build, testing, and release cycles.
  • Coordinate implementation work, follow progress, and help close issues and enhancement items on time.
  • Carry out user acceptance testing and review product increments to confirm quality and fit with business and patient needs.
  • Act as the main contact for business stakeholders, technical teams, end users, and external vendors.
  • Organize workshops, demonstrations, and requirements sessions to build alignment and shared understanding.
  • Share progress updates, performance results, and outcome reports with executive sponsors and governance groups.
  • Use KPI trends and patient feedback to support continuous improvement, optimization, and innovation.
  • Make sure all solutions meet security, privacy, and IT governance requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related discipline.
  • 3 to 7 years of experience in product management or a comparable role supporting digital patient experience solutions.
  • Hands-on experience delivering patient-facing digital products such as portals, mobile apps, wearables, chatbots, CRM platforms, or queueing solutions.
  • Strong preference for experience with Epic MyChart or other Epic patient engagement tools.
  • Solid understanding of Agile practices, the software development lifecycle, and vendor coordination.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Strong analytical ability, communication skills, facilitation skills, and confidence presenting to executive audiences.
  • Ability to work full-time onsite in Dubai and operate effectively in a fast-moving implementation setting.
  • No third-party agencies.

Work arrangement and timeline

This role is remote in setup, but it requires 100% onsite presence in Dubai throughout the project. Onsite attendance is needed for planning, delivery, stakeholder coordination, and go-live support. The daily working schedule is full-time. Travel/on-site requirement is 100% throughout the assignment.
