Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance environmental, health, and safety (EHS) policies, systems, and procedures aligned with the company’s strategic objectives.
  • Ensure strict adherence to relevant laws and standards governing environmental and occupational health and safety, including ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 compliance.
  • Lead the identification of safety risks, conduct hazard assessments, perform safety audits, and investigate incidents to reduce workplace hazards.
  • Create and deliver training programs to boost EHS awareness and competency among employees and contractors.
  • Manage emergency action plans, response protocols, and crisis management strategies.
  • Act as the chief contact for regulatory authorities, ensuring all necessary documentation and approvals for EHS activities are submitted on time.
  • Promote sustainability by implementing initiatives focused on waste management, energy efficiency, and pollution control.
  • Track and report key EHS performance indicators to senior management and suggest improvements.
  • Work collaboratively with operational teams to incorporate EHS best practices in daily operations and drive continuous improvements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Professional certifications such as NEBOSH or CSP, or equivalents, are strongly preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with diverse teams.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of local and international EHS regulations and standards including ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing cross-functional teams and influencing positive organizational safety culture.

The role is open to any graduate meeting the above qualifications and competencies.
