About the Role
Join a global leader dedicated to impactful environmental work that shapes sustainable futures. As part of our Environmental Approvals team, you will contribute to critical projects influencing communities across Australia, specializing in resource developments and major infrastructure initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead or assist with environmental assessments and planning efforts within resource and infrastructure sectors.
- Manage multidisciplinary teams to secure environmental approvals that meet project objectives and client expectations.
- Engage in proposal creation and support business development in a collaborative team setting.
- Collaborate closely with clients, project managers, and specialists including ecologists, acousticians, contaminated land scientists, engineers, and designers to generate practical and innovative environmental solutions.
- Design monitoring programs and evaluate environmental impacts using data analysis to guide decisions on significant projects.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Urban Planning, Ecology, or related disciplines; postgraduate degrees are beneficial.
- Bring approximately 5 to 10 years of experience in environmental planning and approvals, with particular exposure to Western Australia's resource sector preferred.
- Demonstrate sound knowledge of Australian environmental legislation and policy frameworks.
- Experience with GIS, environmental data analysis, or digital assessment tools is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Exhibit excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
