This role is ideal for environmental professionals seeking to enhance their expertise in regulatory approvals while collaborating closely with seasoned specialists and project teams.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive environmental approval and referral documentation.
  • Manage inputs from technical specialists and coordinate associated studies.
  • Contribute to environmental impact evaluations and formulate mitigation approaches.
  • Compile summaries of stakeholder engagement and prepare responses to regulatory inquiries.
  • Critically review and ensure quality control of environmental reports and related materials.
  • Provide support to maintain compliance with state and federal environmental legislation.
  • Engage regularly with project teams, consultants, and regulatory authorities.

Candidate Profile

  • Possess a relevant tertiary qualification in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, or a related field.
  • Demonstrable experience in environmental approvals, management, impact assessment, or comparable disciplines.
  • Excellent technical writing and document preparation capabilities.
  • Strong understanding of environmental assessment and approval frameworks within Australia.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and balance competing priorities effectively.
