Role overview
An award-winning architecture and engineering firm is looking to add an entry-level Revit Drafter with 0-2 years of experience to its team. This is a contract-to-direct opportunity, and candidates at the beginning of their careers are encouraged to submit an application.
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position is $24 to $28 per hour. The benefits package includes sick leave, a 401(k) match, and health insurance.
What you will do
- Develop general arrangement construction documents for commercial and industrial work across architectural, structural, and mechanical disciplines.
- Produce layouts, sections, and detailed drawings in Revit.
- Partner with designers and engineers to support drawing production and drafting through all phases, from early concept work to construction documents.
- Review redlines from others and apply the necessary revisions accurately.
What the employer is looking for
- An AAS in Drafting is required; an emphasis in architectural drafting or a related area is considered a plus.
- Applicants should have 0 to 2 years of experience, making this a good fit for early-career candidates.
- Recent hands-on Revit experience or formal Revit training is needed, along with AutoCAD skills.
