Job description
Role Overview
We are looking for a seasoned Enterprise Architecture Senior Manager to spearhead governance and drive strategic alignment of Enterprise Architecture (EA) throughout the company. This role ensures that architectural standards, principles, and reference models are consistently integrated into technology decision-making, solution implementation, and investment planning, while effectively influencing senior stakeholders and promoting organization-wide coherence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead governance processes and architecture review boards related to Enterprise Architecture.
- Ensure all solutions comply with EA principles, standards, and reference architectures.
- Monitor and enforce architecture compliance across initiatives and major programs.
- Manage architecture exceptions, conducting risk and impact assessments.
- Align IT programs and application landscape with business strategies and capabilities.
- Champion portfolio rationalization, optimization, and standardization of technology.
- Identify and drive cost savings and efficiency improvements across platforms and systems.
- Provide strategic insights that guide investment decisions.
- Develop, refine, and maintain EA frameworks, standards, and reference models.
- Promote uniform adoption of EA practices across all domains.
- Lead creation of architecture artifacts, viewpoints, and repositories.
- Collaborate with senior leadership, business units, and technology teams as a trusted advisor.
- Influence strategic decisions across complex, cross-functional settings.
- Ensure architecture integration within delivery lifecycles.
- Support key programs and initiatives through architectural guidance and governance.
- Bridge strategy and execution across delivery teams.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline (Bachelor’s or Master’s level).
- 9 to 12+ years of experience in Enterprise or Solution Architecture roles.
- Extensive expertise in Enterprise Architecture governance and frameworks.
- Background working in large-scale enterprise environments.
- Experience with multi-domain architecture including applications, infrastructure, and integration.
- Participation in digital transformation projects.
- Proven leadership abilities within architecture functions.
- Strong knowledge of TOGAF or equivalent frameworks.
- Deep familiarity with cloud platforms and contemporary architecture methodologies.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and influence capabilities.
Preferred Certifications
- TOGAF certification
- Cloud Solution Architect certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- COBIT certification (preferred)
- PMP certification (advantageous)
