Role overview

This opportunity is for an Enterprise Account Manager focused on the government sector, working remotely. The position is centered on winning and growing contracts for enterprise software solutions across public sector organizations. You will build relationships with federal, state, and local agencies, with a strong emphasis on public procurement practices and regulatory compliance.

What you will do

Plan and run outreach strategies to connect with government stakeholders and key decision-makers.
Spot and develop new business opportunities across federal, state, and local agencies.
Work closely with internal teams to adapt solutions to government purchasing and implementation requirements.
Ensure ongoing adherence to contracting rules, compliance obligations, and required reporting standards.
Monitor pipeline health, renewal activity, and revenue performance, then share clear updates.

Required background

Hands-on experience in government sales, business development, or account management.
Working knowledge of how U.S. federal, state, or local procurement works.
Strong ability to negotiate and manage contracts effectively.
Comfort analyzing market movements and public-sector spending patterns.
Previous exposure to enterprise software or other technology-driven platforms.

Compensation

The annual payout for this role is $220K to $400K.
