Role Overview
This position is for an Enterprise Account Manager based in Mumbai, Maharashtra. The role calls for an experienced sales professional with at least 5 years of relevant background in IT enterprise account management and solution selling. An MBA in Marketing is preferred, and candidates should have exposure to the IT industry.
Core Focus
The role centers on managing enterprise customers, promoting infrastructure and IT solutions, and growing business through strategic account handling. The products and solutions involved include servers, data center offerings, storage, networking, security, system integration, mobility, and cloud computing.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales and business development activities to identify and convert new business opportunities.
- Manage strategic accounts and nurture relationships with existing corporate clients.
- Handle corporate tie-ups and assess the business potential of client organizations.
- Gather intelligence on competitors and the broader market for related distribution and IT business.
- Execute approved marketing plans to help achieve sales targets and expand market share.
- Develop strong customer relationships and maintain a high level of client engagement.
- Work closely with internal teams and demonstrate a collaborative, proactive approach.
- Lead deal creation, negotiation, and closure for large-value opportunities.
- Engage with senior decision-makers such as CTOs and CIOs in C-level discussions.
Experience & Domain Requirements
Applicants should have strong experience in selling infrastructure solutions, including server, storage, networking, security, and systems integration offerings. Backgrounds in solution selling, IT infrastructure, data center solutions, and system integration are highly relevant. Experience with direct sales and key account management is essential.
