For this Enterprise Account Executive role in APAC, you will own the full sales cycle for new customer acquisition. You will use creative prospecting approaches to build net-new business, manage complex enterprise deals, and act as a consultative partner to prospective buyers. The role suits someone who enjoys hunting for new opportunities, engaging senior stakeholders, and helping establish a category-leading solution in the market.
Responsibilities
- Develop new business in a greenfield territory, guiding prospects from first contact through to close while acting as a trusted advisor and building strong customer relationships.
- Create account strategies for assigned targets, including mapping key stakeholders, understanding local market dynamics, evaluating buying processes, and identifying fresh revenue opportunities.
- Present Gong’s value clearly and persuasively so prospective customers understand the business impact and become excited about the solution.
- Improve outbound messaging continuously to expand prospecting scale and generate most opportunities through self-sourced activity.
- Speak with senior executives about the growing Revenue Intelligence space and position Gong as a market leader.
- Work closely with SDR, Sales, and Sales Engineering partners to build account-based strategies that uncover value across go-to-market leaders.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of relevant sales experience, ideally in complex SaaS sales to enterprise customers, with a multi-threaded sales approach; including 5 or more years selling at the enterprise level in a greenfield territory.
- Demonstrated success exceeding revenue targets of 1M+ and closing six-figure deals of $200k+ in long sales cycles lasting 9+ months.
- Experience selling to senior decision-makers such as the C-suite, CROs, and other go-to-market leaders in organizations with 1,000+ employees.
- Strong hunter mindset with a proven ability to win new logos in new categories.
- Hands-on experience using MEDDPICC or a similar value-based sales methodology for complex enterprise deals.
- Background in SaaS and enterprise software sales.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas in a clear, engaging, and approachable way.
- Experience with Gong.io is a plus, though not mandatory.
- Self-driven and effective in a fast-paced, high-growth startup setting.
- Committed to delivering excellent customer experiences.
- Creative, resourceful, detail-focused, and highly organized.
- Comfortable selling transformational or visionary solutions where demand must be created rather than fulfilled from an obvious budget.
- Able to lead technical presentations and demos and manage the customer journey from prospecting to close.
