Position Overview
This is a short-term contract role as a Voice Actor or Narrator focused on capturing voice recordings for AI text-to-speech training. The position requires a full-time commitment averaging 30 to 40 hours per week, including a 4-hour overlap with Pacific Standard Time (PST). The engagement spans 2 months and begins immediately, with remote work flexibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality voice recordings for AI voice synthesis projects.
- Provide clear, natural, and emotionally expressive narration across diverse content types.
- Interpret scripts and adjust delivery to align with creative guidelines.
- Incorporate feedback and revise audio takes according to project quality standards.
- Ensure consistent tone, clear pronunciation, and proper pacing throughout all recordings.
- Submit finalized audio files in the specified formats within designated deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in voice acting, narration, or professional-level audio recording.
- Excellent vocal control with clarity and a broad range of emotional expression.
- Ability to adapt vocal style and tone to different speaking requirements.
- Access to high-quality recording equipment and a noise-free recording setup.
- Preferred experience in dubbing, Automated Dialogue Replacement (ADR), localization, or similar voice-related work.
- Possession of a demo reel that demonstrates vocal versatility.
- Familiarity with audio editing software is advantageous.
- Capability to follow directions, meet deadlines, and uphold high recording standards.
- Agreement to sign project consent documentation and complete onboarding procedures.
