Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver inquiry-based lessons that encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and a genuine enthusiasm for learning in students.
- Establish and maintain an inclusive classroom culture that appreciates diverse learning styles and builds on individual student strengths.
- Apply differentiated teaching methods to accommodate all learners, including students learning English as an additional language (EAL), gifted students, and those requiring extra assistance.
- Incorporate modern technology and advanced teaching techniques to support student engagement and educational success.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly utilizing data insights to provide personalized feedback and support.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to develop and refine IB-aligned curricula, teaching resources, and assessment tools.
- Participate actively in co-curricular activities, school events, and community projects to contribute to the school's vibrant community.
- Support student wellbeing by building positive relationships with students, parents, and community members to facilitate holistic student development.
- Commit to ongoing professional development to continually improve teaching practice and personal growth.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a certified teaching qualification at degree level, such as B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE, or equivalent, specializing in English.
- Have a minimum of three years of demonstrable experience teaching Secondary English, ideally within an IB framework; familiarity with MYP and DP programmes is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Demonstrate passion for innovative, inquiry-driven teaching methods that inspire learners.
- Show a commitment to professional growth and actively engage within a collaborative, forward-looking team environment.
- Bring enthusiasm, drive, and dedication to support the school’s mission of delivering exceptional international education to a diverse student body.

Additional Information
