Role Overview
St. Joseph Convent School in Bilakhed, Chalisgaon, District Jalgaon, Maharashtra is looking for an English Teacher for secondary and higher secondary classes. The role offers a salary of INR 25,000 to 30,000 per month.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach English across grammar, literature, reading, writing, and spoken communication for high school students.
- Create lesson plans aligned with the CBSE curriculum and the school’s yearly academic schedule, and carry them out consistently.
- Support students for CBSE board examinations by preparing question papers and evaluating answer sheets.
- Organize unit tests, term examinations, and internal assessments, while keeping student records and mark registers updated.
- Maintain discipline in the classroom and ensure the syllabus is completed within the planned timeline.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings and communicate student progress to parents.
- Work with the academic coordinator and principal on curriculum planning, co-curricular activities, and school functions.
Candidate Requirements
- A B.A. or M.A. in English is required.
- A B.Ed. qualification is mandatory.
- The candidate should be ready to move to or live in Bilakhed, Chalisgaon; accommodation will be provided.
